July week 2 2025, The Kombat Zone

By: Jenna Neal – (Summer City Intern)

Providing the perfect blend of fun and education, The Kombat Zone offers entertainment for all
ages and gives back to the next generation.

The owner, Jarvis Hamilton, is originally from Greenville, Alabama, and worked previously in
education to help families and children access helpful resources. His background in education,
combined with his role as a community leader, led him to create The Kombat Zone. The name
The Kombat Zone originated from classic arcade games, such as Mortal Kombat and Street
Fighter, that are available to play in their arcade. The Kombat Zone offers kids’ parties,
team-building events, Nerf Leagues, sells Nerf products, and features an arcade. The Kombat
Zone provides a safe and nurturing environment for kids to play and young adults to work. By
providing entertainment and employment to local youth, Jarvis Hamilton hopes to help combat
violence and crime in the area, one Nerf gun battle at a time. The Kombat Zone is truly unique,
as there are no other businesses in the area offering Nerf parties and events. They also stand out
because they donate school supplies year-round to any kid who needs them if they stop by or call
in.

Their business is open Tuesday through Saturday at 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, and it is best to call
prior for reservations. They are located at 9483 Mullin Road Suite A. For more information, you
can call at 334-226-7882, email thekombatzonellc@gmail.com, follow them on social media, or
visit in person.
