Known for an inviting atmosphere and excellent customer service, Pearl’s Place has been the local spot for Smiths Station’s beauty needs since 2020.
Pearl’s owner Emily Mann, a Smiths Station native, began practicing cosmetology 10 years ago and has worked previously at two other salons in Phenix City. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to pursue her longtime personal dream and open her own business, bringing many of her regular clients with her during the process. Mann said she settled on the name of “Pearl’s Place” to honor the life of her late grandmother who had passed away from cancer.
In addition to customer service, Mann stated that the primary reasons for her success are her efforts to facilitate a warm, laid-back atmosphere for all her clients and making sure they leave happier than when they came in. Services offered at Pearl’s include: cuts, colors, extensions, perms, and waxing.
Pearl’s Place is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern and is located at 9063 Mullin Road. To schedule an appointment, call 706-587-6220. For more information, follow their Facebook and Instagram page.
