September week 3, 2025, Paws Kountry

Serving not only the citizens of Smiths Station but their pets alike, Paws Kountry provides the area with a place to get your animals cleaned and groomed at no trouble.

Paws Kountry’s current owner, Faith ‘Jewell’ Lake, bought the establishment from the previous owner after managing the business for two years. Before managing the business, Faith ran an in-home daycare. Filled with employees who genuinely enjoy their jobs, Paws Kountry offers a variety of services, including dog grooming, bathing, and walk-in nails for dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Boarding and daycare are available for those times you need a reliable caretaker for your pet. 

Their work doesn’t stop with just furry friends, but also making a real difference in people’s lives who need them. With help from the community, the clients and staff of Paws Kountry were able to make supply donations to those affected by Hurricane Helene and were even able to buy Christmas for eight children.

Paws Kountry is open 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST on Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays. Located at 9160 Mullin Road, Suite C, you can contact them through their Facebook page or by giving them a call at 334-291-1411.
