Smiths Station elementary students cut locks for a cause

Fourteen students and three mothers left school Monday a little lighter after donating their hair to the  Pantene Beautiful Locks program. Monday marked the fourth year students at East Smiths Station opted to donate their hair to cancer patients across the nation.

The idea was birthed by older students at the school who wanted a way to help those they knew who were fighting cancer.
