The Lee County Emergency Management Agency will host our first “lunch and learn” opportunity for the citizens of Lee County on Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lee County Emergency Operations Center located @ 908 Avenue B, Opelika. The topic for this session will be “Outdoor Warning Notifications”. Our Communications Officer, Chris Tate will discuss our warning notification system and you will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Then at 12 noon you are welcome to observe while we test the Outdoor Warning Sirens, weather permitting.
